Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic of Fort Wayne, Indiana, is expanding their current services to include mental health counseling.

Counseling services that address depression, anxiety, substance abuse, PTSD, and family conflict are now available for those who meet the intakerequirements and establish care with Matthew 25, the only full-time non-profit clinic in Allen County that offers primary healthcare at no cost to patients.

Evidence-based psychopharmacology and standard-practice screening tools for depression, generalized anxiety disorder and mood disorderswere already in place with medication treatment available from the on-site dispensary. Now added is primary-care-level counseling therapy.  Initial providers are senior-level students from the IPFW counseling program.

Medical Director, Dr. Bradley Isbister, shares that “to be able to provide both medication and counseling therapy has a 1+1=3 affect, increasing the best outcome for our patients. By providing all mental health services at the same location we can improvecoordination and access to care as well as outcomes and compliance.”

Matthew 25 provides medical, optical, dental, and specialty careto adults who have no insurance and live at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
