Matthew 25 Health and Care of Fort Wayne, Indiana, has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation. This grant will be used to purchase an A1C diabetic management machine and secure additional translation services that will be available to the entire organization.

from the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation

Matthew 25 Health and Care of Fort Wayne, Indiana, has been awarded two separate grants of $60,000 each from The St. Joseph Community Health Foundation. One grant is provided to support the salary of the Medical Director, while the other supports the salary of the Dental Director.

Matthew 25 has unveiled a new name and new logo as part of an extensive rebranding initiative. At the heart of the rebrand is a name change. Instead of Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic, the organization will do business as Matthew 25 Health and Care.

Press Release - Matthew 25 Hires New Medical Director

October 6, 2020

Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic has hired its new Medical Director, Dr. Tammie Stinson, MD. As an Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Stinson is an ideal fit for the position. Internists specialize in preventing, diagnosing, and treating nonsurgical conditions and diseases. In her new role, she will oversee a staff of two Nurse Practitioners and three RNs, in addition to over 100 other volunteer physicians, nurses and nursing students.

It is all hands on deck in the Medication Room at Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic. According to Operations Director, Ermina Mustedanagic, “We have asked all staff and volunteers who are 60+ years of age to stay home, as well as those who are expecting.” To help cover those positions and keep up with the medicine demand, staff and volunteers from all departments are helping count pills and restock medications.
